day to day
Before I was a father or a spiritual seeker or a teacher, I was a writer. This blog started as a simple rumination on sleep and waking and it never quite stopped. Good writing owns it own rhythm and its own agenda. We are always channeling the mighty and graceful spirit that we truly are. Day to day posts reflect a less studied attempt to explore A Course in Miracles or Christianity or any of the many themes that fill these pages. Instead, they touch on the pedestrian moments that compose most of my life – baking, napping, walking, gaming. When I am praying and feeling the Presence of Jesus, infused with Christ, those moments can seem like clay in the company of silver and gold. But in fact they are very symbols through which holiness flows and calls us home. Love is not the rapturous moment when eyes first meet, hands first touch – not just that. It is the long marriage that comes after, when we see in our lives the very fabric of which Heaven is composed.
