Jesus is our elder brother. He is like us in all ways save that he perfectly identified with the Holy Spirit and not with ego. He brought his will into perfect alignment with God‘s Will and thus remembered its oneness. In this, Jesus became – as we too become – Christ. This allows him to function as one of many symbols of healing in the world of separation. We experience Jesus as a projection, not as a supernatural being who transcends time and space. However, this does not mean that we do not enter into relationship with him. Indeed, that relationship – premised as it is on forgiveness – is essential to our study and practice.
