Justice

Justice is related to mercy. The just are always merciful, because mercy reflects kindness and love. It also reflects God, who does not judge because He does not perceive differences of any kind, much less differences with opposing values. Justice thus rests on the fundamental equality of all life, which itself reflects the oneness of Creation. When we practice justice in the context of separation, we are practicing seeing our brothers and sisters – broadly defined to include maple trees, sunlight, whales et cetera – as our equal.
