The effective practice of A Course in Miracles requires us to question everything – every value, every belief, every understanding, every relationship. We want to ask what it is for – what is its function? We hold nothing back but bring everything to the Holy Spirit and submit to its judgment. Nothing is too sacred to be given over in this way, and thus integrated into our learning and teaching. A Course in Miracles is not passive, and it is not for the half-hearted. It demands a vigorous appraisal of what works and what does not and a willingness to keep only what works and helps.
